"Donât fear failure so much that you refuse to try new things. The saddest summary of a life contains three descriptions: could have, might have, and should have." â Louis E. Boone
This one hits hard, doesnât it? Iâve had moments where I let fear keep me stuckâconvinced myself the timing wasnât right, that I wasnât ready, that maybe I needed just one more course. But looking back, the only thing I truly regret is not starting sooner. Trying new things is scary, but never trying? That leaves the loudest echo.
I remind myself often: itâs better to fall forward than freeze. Progress isnât about perfectionâitâs about momentum. Staying mindful helps me catch when Iâm hesitating out of habit instead of genuine pause. We donât want to look back with a journal full of âcould have.â We want pages filled with âIâm so glad I did.â
đ§â Mindful Living Tip
Practice âMicro-Courageâ Every Day
Big leaps feel overwhelmingâbut what if you focused on micro-courage? Just one small brave act a day. Say no to the wrong client. Post that reel youâve been overthinking. Pitch the idea sitting in your drafts. When I started doing this, I realized courage wasnât about one grand gesture. It was a daily decision to moveâjust a littleâbeyond my comfort zone.
Being mindful doesnât mean never being afraid. It means noticing the fear, breathing through it, and choosing anyway. You donât need to bulldoze your fearâjust donât let it steer.

âI used to dream about starting a baking blog but was too scared of being judged. One day, I just did it. My photos werenât perfect, but my cookies were. Now, Iâve got a sweet little followingâand itâs led to real orders!â â Joy, Home Baker & Blogger
âI was terrified to run workshops. What if no one signed up? What if I messed up? But I created a simple event, invited my email list, and six women showed up. It was imperfect, but it was magical.â â Farrah, Wellness Coach
ââI let my business stay small because I feared hiring. Delegating felt like losing control. But burnout taught me the cost of doing it all. I hired one VAâand everything changed. Now I get to work on my business, not just in it.â â Diane, Boutique Owner
