We spend all day talking to ourselvesâquietly, constantly, and often without kindness. The words we whisper inside shape how we see the world and who we believe we are. When that inner voice is gentle, we grow. When itâs harsh, we shrink.
âMindfulness helps us notice that voice and soften it. You donât have to be your own criticâyou can be your own ally. The tone you use with yourself can either drain your energy or fill it with light.
Replace Criticism with Compassion
The next time you catch yourself thinking, âI messed up again,â pause and reframe it. Try saying instead, âIâm learning, and thatâs okay.â
âSpeak to yourself as you would to a friendâwith patience, kindness, and understanding. Over time, that gentle language builds confidence and calm that no outer praise could replace.
