When I read this reminder from Jan Chozen Bays, I pause and check in with myself. Mindfulness is not just about sitting quietly. It is about fully noticing what my body is telling me, what my heart is feeling, and what my mind is whispering. I try to notice these without judging whether they’re good or bad. They simply are.

Today, I invite you to join me in this simple practice. Bring your awareness to what is happening right now. What do you feel in your body? What emotions surface in your heart? And what thoughts drift through your mind? Welcome them all without criticism. This is how we stay awake to life.



🧘‍ Mindful Living Tip

One mindful tip that helps me reconnect is the three-breath pause. When I feel scattered, I stop and take three deep breaths. First breath for my body, I feel my feet on the ground. Second breath for my heart, I check how I feel without fixing it. Third breath for my mind, I release any racing thoughts for a moment. This tiny pause resets my whole day. Try it and see how grounded you feel.
