đ¸ Inspiration Corner
Charles F. Glassmanâs idea of an "elimination diet" isnât about foodâitâs about letting go of the mental and emotional burdens that weigh us down. Iâve noticed that when I hold onto anger, regret, or worry, they consume my energy and cloud my ability to make clear decisions. But when I practice releasing those emotions, my mind feels lighter, my creativity flows, and Iâm able to move forward with more clarity.
Right now, Iâm focusing on eliminating one emotional burden at a time. When frustration creeps in, I pause and ask myself, Does holding onto this serve me? If not, I take a deep breath and let it go. Just like nourishing my body with healthy food, Iâm learning that nourishing my mind with peace and acceptance leads to a healthier, more fulfilling life.
đ§ Mindful Living Tip
I use a practice called the âMental Detox List.â Each morning, I write down one thought or emotion I need to releaseâwhether itâs worry about an outcome or guilt over something small. Then, I physically cross it out, signaling to my mind that I am letting it go. This small ritual helps me start the day with a lighter, more focused mindset.

We believe that letting go of negativity is just as important as taking action toward success. Here are three women entrepreneurs whoâve embraced mindfulness to release what no longer serves them and create space for growth.
âAs a freelance graphic designer, I often struggled with self-doubt and anxiety. I took up yoga as a way to manage stress and found it immensely beneficial. It not only improved my physical health but also my mental clarity, helping me approach my projects with confidence and calmness.â â Lisa, Freelance Graphic Designer
âRunning my coaching business meant carrying the weight of my clientsâ struggles. I used to feel drained by the end of the day, but then I started a simple evening routineâwriting down one thing I was proud of and one thing I was releasing. That shift helped me stay energized and present.â â Naomi, Life Coach
âWhen I opened my boutique, I constantly compared myself to bigger brands. It made me feel like I wasnât doing enough. Once I stopped focusing on what others were doing and redirected that energy into my own progress, I felt more at peace and started attracting the right customers.â â Danielle, Boutique Owner
