đ¸ Inspiration Corner
"You canât start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading your last one." â Michael McMillan
I used to live in a loopâreplaying mistakes, regrets, and âwhat ifsâ like they were on a never-ending mental playlist. And you know what? It left no room for what's next. Holding onto the past, even unconsciously, can quietly rob us of the present.
When we constantly revisit old storiesâfailures, heartbreaks, missed chancesâwe anchor ourselves in a place we no longer live. Today, I try to show up for what is. I remind myself that growth doesnât ask for perfection; it asks for movement. Turning the page isnât about forgetting the pastâitâs about freeing your hands to write something new.
đ§â Mindful Living Tip
Let the Page Turn
Try this journaling practice when you find yourself stuck in old stories:
Write a short letter to your âpast chapterââthank it, forgive it, and let it be.
On a new page, title it âToday.â Write down how you want to feel today.
End with this mantra: I release what was. I welcome what is.
Re-reading is comforting, but writing your next chapterâthatâs where the magic lives. Let go, not because the past was wrong, but because your future deserves your full attention.

Stories from women turning pages and stepping into their next chapter.
"I held onto my first failed business for too long, afraid to admit it was over. The day I decided to let it go, I felt griefâbut also relief. I launched a new venture six months later, and I finally feel aligned." â Renee, Ethical Fashion Designer
"After my divorce, I kept looking through old journals, trying to find where I went wrong. One day, I stopped. I bought a new notebook and wrote one sentence: 'This is my new beginning.' That was the day I started my life coaching practice." â Arlene, Life Coach
"I was stuck in a corporate role that drained me, but I clung to it because of the time Iâd invested. Finally, I chose myself. I now run a virtual assistant agency, and every day feels like a fresh page." â Mia, VA Agency Owner
