The Self-Check-In Practice

Mindfulness starts with awareness, and one simple way to build that awareness is through a daily self-check-in. Here’s how to do it:

Pause: Set a timer on your phone for a moment during your day—mid-morning, lunch, or evening works well.
Ask Yourself Three Questions:
How does my body feel right now?
What thoughts are most present in my mind?
What emotions am I experiencing at this moment?
Acknowledge Without Judgment: Whether you’re feeling energized or drained, focused or scattered, simply notice it. Accept it as it is.
This practice helps you reconnect with yourself, recognize your needs, and realign your energy for the rest of the day.
