It’s that daily nudge to check in with yourself before chasing after the noise. Because here’s the truth: there’s no wrong way to be yourself—and that freedom is everything.

Practice “Five Breaths of Truth”

This simple exercise has changed the way I approach chaotic moments in my workday. Whenever I feel overwhelmed—by a flood of emails, a confusing client brief, or just the weight of being the boss—I stop and take five intentional breaths. Inhale. Exhale. Repeat. No music, no timer, no fuss.

During those five breaths, I ask myself: “What’s true right now?” Not the story in my head, not the anxiety about tomorrow, just what’s real in that breath. Maybe I’m tired. Maybe I’m excited. Maybe I just need water. This tiny pause grounds me. It reminds me that I don’t need to fix everything right away. I just need to meet myself where I am—and that awareness is a powerful reset button.
