âIf itâs out of your hands, it deserves freedom from your mind too.â This quote hit me like a deep exhale. As women in business, we tend to overthink, over-plan, and over-worryâespecially about things we canât fix right now (or ever). But honestly, if Iâve done what I can, why let it drain my energy from the inside out?
Staying mindful doesnât mean ignoring challenges. It means noticing when my thoughts are looping around something thatâs already gone. Mindfulness helps me release those thoughts with grace, like unclenching a tight fist. The truth is, when I stop obsessing, I start healing, resting, and making space for what is in my control.

Try this: when a stressful thought keeps replaying, pause and ask yourself, âCan I do anything about this right now?â If the answer is no, take a breath and let it go. Write it down and walk away. Let the paper hold it, not your mind. Youâll be surprised how freeing that feelsâeven if itâs just for five minutes.
