Even the longest, heaviest days will eventually lighten. We forget that life constantly shifts, like waves. So when things feel unbearable, I remind myself that this moment is temporary. Change is always on the horizon, even if I can’t see it yet.

When anxiety shows up, it often brings the past or the future with it. But the present? That’s where calm lives. Next time you're overwhelmed, try this: look around and name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. It’s called grounding, and it gently brings you back to now.

Doing this isn’t magic—but it is powerful. You shift from spiraling thoughts to steady awareness. And sometimes, that’s all you need to get through what’s heavy until it passes.
