But when I stay mindful of my breath, I find my ground again. The breath becomes a steady place to return to when everything else feels uncertain.

​Mindfulness teaches me that I don’t need to fight or suppress my emotions. I only need to notice them, breathe through them, and let them pass in their own time. The breath keeps me present, steady, and calm.
