I believe Paulo Coelho’s quote speaks to our universal experience with anxiety. It’s a reminder that we’re never truly alone in those shaky moments because our worries come from being human. Rather than seeing anxiety as a personal failing, I view it more like a passing storm—unpredictable yet inevitable. I can’t fully control it, but I can prepare for its arrival and learn to live alongside it.
In my day-to-day life, I pay close attention to my mood and thoughts. When I sense tension building, I pause to breathe and remind myself this feeling will eventually subside. Like storms, anxiety doesn’t last forever, and the calmer days in between are worth savoring. By being aware of the present, I find that I can handle each passing wave with a little more courage.
